Sierra Reece

Sierra is a Black and ADOS (American Descendant of Slaves) educator and entrepreneur born and raised in New Jersey. In 2019, she graduated from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Hospitality, and later moved to The Bay Area to work as a Naturalist for the Marin County Outdoor School. Sierra brings bold East Coast energy and hustle to every outdoor space she enters. She is a seasoned summer camp professional, having worked for a number of camps and youth programs in New York and New Jersey including Project Morry Inc. and Liberty Lake Day Camp. A natural – born adventurer, Sierra loves to take risks. On any given day you can find her hiking up mountains, trying crazy new foods, jumping off cliffs, or exploring new cities solo. Sierra loves to travel, meet new people, learn new things and aims to make the most out of every day. She’s passionate about the intersection of economic and environmental justice, and strives to build a career helping other Black people and People of Color start their own businesses and organizations in the outdoor industry. When not jetting cross country, sleeping, working, or a wild combination of all three, Sierra loves to cook, crochet, thrift shop, and watch movies.
