amy’s love for the outdoors began with her ma’s backyard — with the wonder of rollie pollies and worms. Since then, amy has worked at the Resilient Roots Community Farm in Camden, NJ as a youth farm educator. There, they witnessed how empowering it is to not only learn how to grow your own food but to learn your own hxstory. amy returned to California this past year to work as a Teacher in Residence at Slide Ranch. she deeply believes in socio-emotional learning in the outdoors as well as teaching culturally relevant intergenerational responsibility. In their free time, amy loves to hike, pickle daikon and upcycle earrings.
