Celida Moran

Celida was born and raised in so-called San Francisco, CA, on the ancestral homeland of the Ramaytush Ohlone people. She is currently a RAY Diversity Fellow and works as a Restoration and Education Technician with the Students and Teachers Restoring A Watershed Program (STRAW) at Point Blue Conservation Science. Here she aims to use her experiences and teachings from her mentors to support community-led projects in the Bay Area through the lenses of critical race theory and land-based education. She honors her ancestors, parents, tías, mentors and friends that have helped her get to where she is today.
