Bueno Para Todos Farm

In the rural town of Villanueva, Bueno Para Todos Farm (BPT Farm) is a women-led teaching farm nestled in the San Miguel Valley, along the Pecos River. In collaboration with a local high school, the farm provides a space for students to learn about land rematiration, indigenous farming practices to both spiritually honor the land and grow organically, while saving water. The program also engages the wider community, largely Latinx, in critical conversations regarding local water rights, in light of recent marijuana law passage without water protections. BPT Farm is currently building infrastructure to become a local food hub, addressing health disparities in the Valley, including a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.
