Always Be Birdin’ aims to change the narrative of birding as a podcast that is now venturing into facilitating birding outings for local BIPOC birders of all skill levels. They are focused on reimagining how we bird, where we bird and especially who is birding. They emphasize the very real possibility of “birdin” in a non-white and non-western lens. Through this approach, they work to empower BIPOC communities toward reconnecting with, and advocating for, access to outdoor spaces as a means of recreation, healing and community building.
