Wild Diversity is Black-led environmental non-profit exclusively serving the Black, Indigenous, all people of color (BIPOC) and LGBTQ+ communities in the Portland (Oregon) metro area. They believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the healing that nature offers. Wild Diversity creates a personal connection to the outdoors for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities through outdoor adventures and education. Their philosophy is that creating a sense of belonging in the outdoors for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities are the first steps to creating comfort in outdoor activities and building up future stewards.
