Latino Outdoors (LO) brings cultura into the outdoor narrative and connects Latinx communities with nature. LO connects familias and comunidades with the outdoors through free, family- friendly outdoor outings. They support the professional development of outdoor leaders and use storytelling to broaden the definition of “belonging” in the outdoors by amplifying the narratives of Latinx outdoor professionals and enthusiasts. They envision a world where all Latinx communities enjoy nature as a safe, inclusive, and welcoming place and work towards a world with an active community of Latinx outdoor users, mentors, and stewards.
