San Francisco / Oakland cohort
Zahira Chaudhry (she/her) was born and raised in the Bay Area where she developed an appreciation for the outdoors. As an undergraduate at UC Berkeley, she studied soil carbon sequestration and organized with BIPOC students for environmental justice. In her free time she can be found dabbling in photography, graphic design, gardening, biking, skateboarding and playing bass. Zahira is passionate about storytelling and hope to cultivate both digital and in-person community spaces that center the experiences of BIPOC narratives in the climate movement.
