Eliza grew up in the Bay area but her first connection to nature will always be swimming in the ocean when visiting relatives on the East Coast. She grew to love being in the outdoors as a camper and later summer staff member at Camp Tawonga. Eliza graduated in 2018 from Kenyon College in Ohio where she majored in International Development and minored in Mathematics. During her junior year she studied for a semester in Chile, where she improved her Spanish and experienced all new kinds of nature. Eliza now works full-time for Camp Tawonga as the financial assistance coordinator. In her free time, she loves to swim in natural bodies of water, do art, and cook!
