Betty shares her passion in inspiring meaningful connections between the local community, wildlife, and nature. She received her B.S. in Biology from CSU Channel Islands and has over a decade of experience in interpretation and environmental education from Santa Barbara Zoo, Los Angeles Zoo, The Children’s Nature Institute, Oakland Zoo, and Open Space Authority. Betty is a Certified Interpretive Guide and a Certified Interpretive Trainer through the National Association for Interpretation.
