Cristina has always been passionate about the environment, cities, sustainability, and food systems. She is originally from Puerto Rico where she started as an Environmental Educator and then decided to move to San Francisco and have a diverse experience in the field. As an early-career, Cristina did research for North Carolina State University related to socio-ecological studies. She enjoys giving classes so kids can learn, enjoy themselves and be more passionate about the natural world.
