Negina Lowe

Negina is a Black and Native Hawaiian person who is currently based in Maine. They developed her passion for environmental justice through friends and colleagues, and exploring and appreciating the outdoor spaces around them. Having access to these spaces and this knowledge lit a flame in them to preserve them for generations to come. Living in Maine has given them the opportunity to connect to the land in a healing way, while applying their previous learnings of being a part of land, not superior. Negina has worked in the fields of mental health, racial justice, and policy work and is most excited to combine the skills and knowledge they have developed to find points of intersect between these issues and environmental justice.
