Alejandra Arellano (she/her/ella) is a Mexican-American born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. When visiting Yellowstone National Park, she got inspired to work in environmental education and share her passion for the outdoors. She earned her B.S. at the University of Utah in Environmental and Sustainability Studies. Currently she works with the Oregon Department of Forestry working towards accessible outdoor recreation and serves on the DEI council for the department. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her dog and reading.
