Thea Thomas

Thea Lopez, a native of Wilmington, Delaware, holds a B.A. in Integrated Marketing from Bloomsburg University. She currently serves as a Program Coordinator and is the Founder of the Girls Like Us (G.L.U) Empowerment Group. She is well-versed in grassroots organizing and advocates for projects, policies, and practices that strengthen our communities. As a grassroots organizer and civic leader, Thea is dedicated to nurturing our community while advocating for Black girls, youth development, and environmental justice. She is committed to her mission of establishing youth programs and resources that utilize nature to address the impact of violence and drug use in our community.
