Justice Outside’s Outdoor Educators Institute Highlighted by Youth on Root

Youth on Root centers low-income youth and youth of color as change agents in their communities by providing tools for learning from each other and opportunities to use their unique power to promote environmental justice. In December, they hosted a live conversation on Instagram called “Affinity to Empowerment: How Community Co-Creates Us” with Justice Outside’s Laura Hernandez and Dylan Kiyo Kennedy and Youth on Root’s Rachael Meyers to discuss their experiences at our Outdoor Educators Institute.
