Emanuela Torres-Marquis

Emanuela Torres-Marquis (she/her) is an educator, interpreter and animal lover. During her undergrad she interned with Current Problems a non-profit based in Gainesville, FL which sparked her passion for community engagement and working with volunteers. After graduating, she served in an AmeriCorps position as the Community Volunteer Ambassador for Yosemite National Park where she served on the DEIA council. She currently works with the Florida State Parks System where she hopes to continue to advocate and aid in creating a more inclusive outdoors. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog, going to the springs, and photography.
