Evelyn is a first-generation college student born and raised in California. She is a proud Latina woman who desires to help those in need. She enjoyed her many years in the education field but is eager to focus on the environment. Evelyn is passionate about animals, nature, and photography. Now, as a Program and Communication Assistant at Youth on Root, an organization dedicated to empowering young people of color, Evelyn is eager to embark on a journey of learning and personal growth.
