Maya Morales (she/her) is an environmental educator and artist who seeks to make connections between our natural and cultural worlds. She has worked in the outdoors field as an educator at various institutions and organizations such as the National Park Service, outdoor learning schools and nonprofit organizations. Throughout her career, she has looked towards learning to create more accessible spaces for people to enjoy the outdoor world. She currently teaches a California Naturalist certification course that aims to make nature areas in Southern California more accessible and culturally relevant.
