Shley Suarez Burgos (she/her/ella) was encrusted in the salt waters of Miami. At a young age, Shley discovered her passion for conservation-focused digital storytelling. Combining her background of professional salmon fishing, filmmaking and yoga instruction, she uses creative eco-storytelling to create authentic conversations and events for diverse communities. She is currently an advisory member of the Olas y Accion Council, Catalyst Miami’s Medical Debt Board and NAMA. Shley also is a Program Coordinator for Latino Outdoors Miami Chapter.
