Taylor-Nicole (Tea) Tinsley

Taylor-Nicole (she/they) is a Black Queer teaching artist born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. Their art mediums include theater, voice acting, storytelling, African drumming, puppetry, dance, and mixed media visual arts. Taylor-Nicole currently has art residencies with Seattle Children’s Theater, Arts Corps, and with Black Woman owned organizations like Asé Theatre and Braided Seeds. She can be seen on episodes Look, Listen + Learn, a local (Seattle) Black-owned children’s show. Taylor-Nicole’s philosophy is to curate safe creative spaces for historically excluded folks. When She’s not creating, they enjoy roller skating, all things Halloween, and snuggles with their 2 kitties Babydoll & Kiki.
