Erika Enomoto

Erika Enomoto (she/her) has lived in Fresno since she moved from Japan with her family at the age of 10. During her undergraduate studies, Erika discovered her love for seeing people reconnect to their environment through community, growing food, and being outside. She currently works at Fresno Metro in the area of healthy food access, food waste prevention, and food secuirty. Her favorite part of her job is coordinating gleaning events, which means she gets to go pick oranges with volunteers to get the fruit to hungry people instead of the landfill. If it was up to her, she’d be climbing a tree right now.
