Luis Rincón (he/him) serves as the Program & Operations Manager with Latino Outdoors to support a team of volunteers in carrying out beautiful and inclusive outings where cultura y familia is at the forefront of the experience. He is a native of Fresno, CA and lives here with his partner and four legged babies- two dogs and a cat. He has always enjoyed the outdoors and attended Fresno State where, after a few major changes, he settled on pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration. When given the chance, he likes to connect with friends and family, go on hikes, go swimming, or just take a drive to take in some fresh air and beautiful views.
When he became part of Latino Outdoors, less than 2 years ago, it allowed him to experience other cool outdoor activities that he would not ever have dreamed of. He never knew that going camping or going climbing would be something he loves! He is excited about learning and growing through the Outdoor Educators Institute to gain new skills and engage his community in their first experiences.
