Hello! I’m Jeanney (she/they) and I am ecstatic to be part of the OEI 2024 Cohort! I am originally from Redding, CA, and have lived in Northern California my whole life. My connection to the environment led me to a major in Geography allowing me to bond with a love of maps as well as critical lenses. I try to spend much of my time outdoors: as some of my hobbies include biking, walking, and hammocking. This spring, I hope to learn more about the local environment, sharpen my outdoor skills, and meet other BIPOC nature-folks (: I am looking forward to learning, unlearning, relearning, and growing with a great community!
