Regina Madanguit

Regina (she/her) is a Filipino-American multimedia storyteller originally from Chicago. She plays with words, visuals, and sound to tell stories that everyone can relate to. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, where she studied Environmental Design and American Studies. There, she hosted and produced the university’s first student-run podcast, The BAD Podcast. Her writing is featured in Kiss Papercuts Goodbye (2023), a book on the historical influence of Asian women pioneers throughout history. She has created short films in partnership with refugees from Syria and Iraq and interviewed Ukrainian refugees to help reimagine services to better meet their needs. She enjoys making things from scratch and takes every chance she gets to be in or by the water.
