David developed his passion for the outdoors early. Growing up, he and his family would go camping in Sequoia National Park every summer. Fortunately, he was able to take his passion and turn it into a career. He graduated from Cal State, Northridge with a BS in Recreation and Tourism Management and moved to the Bay Area and worked for Outward Bound California as an instructor and program manager. He is now back in Los Angeles as the manager for CSUN Outdoor Adventures where he works with young adults starting their careers in outdoor education. David also likes taking personal adventures. He has hiked the Nüümü Poyo twice and has ridden his bike from Vancouver, Canada to San Diego, CA. He also enjoys photography and drinking coffee.
