My name is Alonso Aguilar Castro, I am 19 years old and I am from the Bay Area. I was born in Oakland. I have one sister and she is 15 years old. I don’t have any brothers. I went to Franklin preschool over in Berkeley. Then from there I moved to Richmond and I switched over to a school called Martin Luther King Jr Elementary school. I loved that school. I have the best memories with friends at that school. After Elementary, I went to Lovonya Dejean middle school which was just a couple blocks away from my old elementary. Middle school was probably my favorite because I was in the soccer team and I knew a lot of people. Then I went over to Richmond high which went by fast. After I graduated from high school I started working as a crew member at East Bay Regional Parks. I started learning new skills and meeting new people. All the people I’ve met so far have been great. I learned how to sheet mulch, prune Native plants, use hand tools, and also installed stone blocks and so much more. So far it’s been great working here with the EBRPD. Some stuff I like to do in my free time is go ride my bike and play video games. I ride my bike to Bart when I go to work so its like my way of getting to places. Video games are fun every once in a while.
