Michelle Cai (they/them) grew up in the Chicago area, sustained by the waters of Lake Michigan. They are passionate about teaching and learning through the embodied knowledge that comes with making art and going outdoors. Michelle loves swimming in the ocean, laying out in the sun, and engaging in practices of somatic care. They look forward to connecting with the land and the other OEI cohort members 🙂
